Crew Profile
One Love’s Leopard 46 primary team consists of Captain Wayne and Chef Jules which makes up
quite the impressive résumé between the two of them. Captain Wayne with over 40 years of
boat handling experience. Starting at the age of 10 where he recalls his dad purchasing a small
12-foot fishing boat from Sears to use in the coves of the local freshwater lakes. From there he
advanced to competing in bass fishing tournaments progressing to larger and faster boats. He
became a pilot at the age of 16, enlisted in the military at age 17 with his dad’s consent and
decided to go airborne where he learned Skydiving. Later he founded Eagle Flight Skydiving
where he spent years teaching in the civilian world earning every license available. He said that
alone didn’t really pay the bills, so he continued pursuing his education and eventually started
up a successful technology-based company. Which afforded him the opportunity to have
Manna built and move to the Caribbean full-time. With the encouragement from his wife, they
together founded a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called “Manna for Missionaries” to utilize
the Yacht in the off season, as a way of giving back. With so much more that could be added, it
would be extremely rare to find someone more knowledgeable and more diverse to carry you
on this Journey through the islands.
Chef Jules earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from New Mexico State University. She
has enjoyed the highly rewarding experience of helping others find the homes of their dreams
for two decades as a real estate broker. In her spare time, she too discovered two true
passions she never realized: cooking and sailing. Which as crazy as it might sound lead her to
obtaining her Captain’s license along with the needed STCW certification to cross international
waters. This was just the start as it has given her the freedom to navigate countless Caribbean
islands over the last eleven years preparing amazing meals and entertaining Guest along the
way. Did I mention Jules owns 2 private yachts and is how she was able to accomplish all this?
She now employees a full-time crew aboard and believes that the crystal blue waters, gentle
breezes, colorful sunrises, and sunsets along with the freedom of sailing, brings a special peace
and tranquility to life. That blissful feeling becomes evident in all the dishes she prepares,
making your meals utterly delightful. Jules looks forward to sharing her spectacular menu with
a variety of delectable dishes, assuring an extraordinary culinary experience.

Favorite memory: Sailing into 20-25kt wind Great to be back on the water sailing. We took a bare boat to the BVI many years ago. Nice to have a crew look after all the details. Enjoyed many new places. Much nicer than our fine romance experience of LI Sound. Christian is an excellent captain and Laura is a wonderful chef. Many flavors and presentations. Favorite memory: Snorkeling!!! Everything brought different seascapes and fish not seen previously. Message: A wonderful trip from the moment we got on board. The cat was the prefect size for two couples and cozy. Plenty of spots for sun, shade and lounging. Laura and Christian were exceptional hosts. Professional, attentive, knowledgeable, engaging, friendly and flexibly. The skills of chef Laura were exceptional. Perfect vessel, perfect location, perfect crew, perfect week! Amazing Trip
This has been such an amazing trip. Laura and Christian have been great. Laura makes the best Mojito! :) Every meal that she created was beautiful and scrumptious. Meeting Laura and Christian was one of the best parts of the trip. Snorkeling was amazing, catching lobster and spearing lion fish are memories we will keep forever. The cave exploration was awesome along with so many other activities. We could not have picked a more perfect crew! Laura is a master chef and she never cease to amaze us with her creations. As delicious as they were each, and every meal was fantastic. Mahi, snapper, wahoo, shrimp and scallops, all prepared with an Asian flair! Dear Laura and Christian, Thanks for an amazing week. We loved seeing so many new fun spots. Thanks for joining in all our family card games. The food was awesome. Especially spider crab night, the best spider crab we have ever had! We loved all the snorkeling spots especially Salt Island. Our week on One Love was perfect and we are grateful for all the fantastic memories we made with our boys. Until next time! Lime Out and tubing, cactus candy, and petting a goat were some of our favorite activities and memories from this trip along with jumping off the Willie T and Salt Island snorkeling. Dear Laura and Christian, Thank you so much for a simply amazing week aboard One Love! From the pre-trip zoom call to learn more about our preferences and trip goals to the final morning on the boat, we appreciated the planning and attention given to every detail. Christian smoothly sailed us through the beautiful waters while Laura prepared gourmet meals that rivaled any high end restaurant. We enjoyed snorkeling, paddle boarding and swimming in the beautiful waters of the Virgin Islands. Evening activities of ukulele/guitar sing along, card games and of course Pirate/Karaoke night were all so much fun. Something we didn’t fully appreciate until we were on the trip, was how important it was to get along with the crew while living in close quarters for a week. We would say we not only got along but we all really enjoyed getting to know Laura and Christian.
