Oui Cherie houses 3 extra-spacious queen staterooms- including a stunning Master and VIP cabin. All guest cabins include their own private ensuite head and stand alone shower. This yacht offers extraordinary space for its size both above and below deck and is suitable for any variety of people desiring to get away: families, friends, coworkers, children, couples- you name it! There are tremendous amounts of entertaining and relaxing space on board this vessel. The Flybridge: where the helm and sailing functions meet the enormous convertible settee- provide the best seat in the house whether under sail or under stars. The Forward Cockpit Lounge: where morning coffee meets the sunrise. The Aft Cockpit: where the exquisite meals are served and chaise lounges are spread throughout the yacht. The Main Salon: which houses the open-concept galley, large sofa-chaise and flat-screen TV. And also a more formal dining area should that be desired. Your Captain - Pieter Moller
I grew up on the west coast of South Africa in a small town called Vredenburg, spending weekends and holidays free diving for lobster and abalone and have had a love for the ocean ever since. After 16 years in the family business, specializing in mechanical maintenance and steel fabrication, the call of the ocean finally became too strong, so I decided to pursue my love for sailing, diving and fishing.
My career as captain started back in Cape Town on a 65ft classic schooner, where I learned to master cold winters, big ocean swells and strong winds. Eventually, after cruising Zanzibar and the East Coast of Africa (where I met my crew mate and friend, Ashley), I set my sights on more tropical destinations. This brought me to the Caribbean where I thoroughly enjoy leading charters in the stunning locations of BVI, St Maarten, Antiqua, St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Lucia.
The amazing destination of BVI has so much on offer - from busy beach bars to secluded beaches and anchorages with not another boat in sight, to amazing snorkelling and diving famous sites like the wreck of the Rhone, or sailing up to Anegada where you can get some of the biggest freshest lobster I have seen in the Caribbean.
Your chef and first mate - Ashley von Lempke
Hi everyone, my name is Ashley. I have saltwater running through my blood! If I haven't been in the ocean, I've lived on it! My passion for food and making people smile came from traveling the world in this industry. I started my journey when I was young working on super yachts all over the Mediterranean and have been in some of the most beautiful food markets in the world. I love to please people with my food and incorporate all the knowledge and flavours I've learnt while preparing food wherever I go. My goal with our guests is to create an unforgettable experience through food, vibes and smiles, whilst maintaining the yacht to the highest of standards!
I am so passionate about everything natural and free and am a true adventurist! My dream is to own my own small sailboat and see the rest of the world at my own hand!
Pieter and I are not only crew mates but good friends and began working together in our homeland of Cape Town, sailing along the coast of the Atlantic. With our passion for adventure, together with our combined skills and knowledge, we create unforgettable memories for guests in the BVI on board ‘Oui Cherie’.
