Magens bay is an astonishing one mile stretch of white sand beachline. Pelicans drop out of the skies like dive bombers, and crash into the ocean right next to you to grab their share of the small fish teaming in the tranquil waters. Being the Island's most popular beach it is often crowded with tourists and locals alike. The park has a beachside bar and restaurant for refreshments and is a great place to spend an afternoon. The water here is calm and the water deepens very gradually making it a great place to take children. The beach was donated to the Virgin Islands by Arthur Fairchild and was turned into a park. It is the only beach on the island with an entrance fee (used to maintain the park)St John | St Thomas | Anegada | Cooper Island | Jost Van Dyke | Norman Island | Peter Island | Tortola | Virgin Gorda
