Felix is a 2015 Lagoon 52 with 4 spacious queen guest cabins. All guest cabins have en-suite electric heads with vanity and separate shower stalls. Felix has an abundance of natural lighting and ventilation throughout the yacht plus air-conditioning throughout. Each cabin can adjust the air-conditioning individually for optimal guest comfort. The yacht offers alfresco dining in the cockpit and will comfortably accommodate 8 guests at the table. The salon will also seat up to 8 guests for dining or just relaxing. There are plenty of options for sunbathing and multiple areas to avoid the midday sun is you so choose. The fly-bridge offers seating and lounge area with a 360-degree view and in addition there is a lounge area upfront behind the large trampolines. Cabins in the boat offer lots of natural lighting and great ventilation. The boat is fully air-conditioned, and each cabin can adjust the air-conditioning individually for optimal guest comfort. 4 guest queen cabins each with private ensuite electric head, vanity, and separate shower. The crew stays in a separate twin bunk cabin and private head. This vessel is the 5 Cabin Version: 4 Queen Staterooms and 5th Bunk bed Stateroom. Normally Crew will take the bunks unless requested at the time of booking. The Top fly-bridge offers seating and lounge area with a 360-degree view. With a lifelong passion for the sea, Captain AJ brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to sailing the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands. Growing up windsurfing on the English South Coast, AJ developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and its challenges.
AJ honed his sailing skills from a young age through competitive dinghy racing; Laser 4000, RS 500, RS800 competing in races on the River Thames in London and interclub events on the UK south coast. This experience instilled a strong sense of teamwork, strategy, and the ability to handle demanding conditions.
Beyond sailing, AJ has a diverse background in water sports. As a certified Padi Dive Master, he has explored underwater worlds in Australia, Indonesia, Thailand Egypt, and the Mediterranean. This experience provides a unique perspective on the marine environment and ensures the utmost respect for the ocean's delicate ecosystems.
With extensive experience in yacht chartering and a recent season in Croatia, AJ is adept at navigating various waters and weather effects providing exceptional sailing experiences. His RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification demonstrates his commitment to safety and professionalism.
When not sailing, Captain AJ enjoys exploring his other passions, including kitesurfing, wakeboarding, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, food, and photography.
